Every stage of the Six Stage Research Integrity Framework, from proposal to defence, is built around teaching structure, method, and academic writing, not producing a finished document a student then submits without having engaged with it. The research question, the argument, and the final submission decision remain the student's.
Your institution's rules come first.
Every university and school sets its own policy on what kind of academic support is permitted. It is the student's responsibility to know that policy and stay inside it. Where mentorship of any kind is not permitted by your institution, we expect you to say so at intake.
