Accessibility Statement
What we have built toward WCAG 2.1 AA, stated plainly, and how to tell us when something does not work.
Our target, stated honestly.
We are building this site toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not commissioned a formal third party audit, so we are not claiming certified compliance, only describing what has actually been implemented and verified.
What is in place today.
- A skip link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element
- Text contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds, not eyeballed
- Alt text on every image sitewide
- One H1 per page, in correct heading order
- prefers-reduced-motion respected: animation stops for users who request it
- The chat assistant is fully keyboard operable, with a focus trap while open and Escape to close
- Forms use associated labels and autocomplete attributes for assistive technology
Where we know we are not finished.
We have not run a full assistive technology test pass with real screen reader users, and some interactive elements (the programme fit quiz, the WebGL hero animation) have not been independently tested beyond our own keyboard and automated checks. We would rather say that plainly than claim more than we have verified.
